Tenaris has developed also a wide range of hot rolled (E 730 K2) and cold drawn (PHC 690) tubes for hydraulic cylinders in high performance steels, able to withstand highest pressures and extreme working conditions. Tenaris’s tubes, developed jointly with the customers, are used in some applications, such as dock cranes, where technical rules and directives require increased mechanical property values (i.e. toughness) and tighter dimensional tolerances.
