Other applications
Tenaris produces tubes for many other automotive applications, such as constant velocity joint cages, half shafts, stabilizers and steering systems, and components like side impact beams. This component can be supplied in different configurations according to customer’s design: tubes with formed ends and tubes with welded stamped plates.
Tenaris seamless tubes for automotive applications are produced in various steel grades in an extensive dimensional range, delivered as rolled or cold drawn and are subject to different heat treatments (normalizing, annealing, quenching & tempering and stress relieving).
Tenaris performs also added value operations on the tubes such as cut to length, forming, different types of machining and welding.
