Steel Grades and Dimensional Range
Chrome-molybdenum or carbon-manganese seamless steel tubes can be supplied in hot-rolled and cold-drawn conditions, in a wide range of sizes with outer diameters ranging from 108 mm to 610 mm. They are characterized by high steel cleanliness, restricted chemical composition band, tight dimensional tolerances and controlled surface quality, in order to guarantee the best performance as part of our customers’ manufacturing processes.
Applications
Our seamless tubes are currently used by the most important gas cylinder manufacturers worldwide for demanding applications such as Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) cylinders, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trailers, transportation and storage of compressed hydrogen, medical and technical gases, as well as scuba diving and fire-extinguishers.
Safety Standards
Using Tenaris seamless tubes, our customers are able to manufacture gas cylinders according to the most important international standards such as ISO 9809, ISO 11439, ISO 11120, EN 1964, ECE R/110, DOT 3AA, DOT 3AAX and DOT 3T.
