Tenaris produces carbon-manganese and alloy steel feed-water tubes and pipes in a wide dimensional range.
Proven quality UNDER severe conditions
In the power plants, tubes and pipes are also used to transport fresh water and recovered condensed water into the boiler combustion chamber where it is transformed into steam to generate electricity. Tenaris feed-water tubes and pipes are manufactured with materials able to withstand high temperatures and high pressures. These materials must meet the most stringent technical requirements set by production process and inspection tests in order to guarantee their durability and reliability throughout their service life.

Steel Grades and Dimensional Range
For this application, we produce a wide range of carbon-manganese, low-alloy and high-alloy steel tubes and pipes, with outer diameters ranging from 31.8 mm to 711 mm and wall thicknesses from 2.3 mm to 100 mm, which guarantee excellent creep and corrosion resistance.
Tenaris feed-water tubes and pipes are designed according to the most stringent quality standards (ASTM A106, ASTM A335, EN10216-2) and manufactured under the certified quality system (ISO 9001). Quality control procedures include statistical process controls, process and product audits as well as traceability systems covering all manufacturers involved.
