For Tenaris, R&D has always been the best way to translate customer and market inputs into new or improved products.

Our annual line pipe (LP) program is carried out at our two R&D centers: Centro de Investigación Industrial (CINI) in Argentina and Centro Sviluppo Materiali (CSM) in Italy, and several other internationally recognized universities and laboratories around the world.

The program also includes Joint Industry Projects (JIP's) and collaborative programs through which we work with customers and other industry players to research important pipeline issues.

Our research subjects are specific and customer oriented, and are complemented by ongoing basic research.
