To quantify the influence of the Y/T ratio on the mechanical and fractomechanical properties of LP and in particular on the critical defect size.

A deeper knowledge on this issue is important since the Y/T ratio has always been a subject of much debate. The project will help to understand the nature of the Y/T and its influence in the assessment of critical defect size and other structural considerations (collapse, etc).
