TenarisUniversity has various learning centers around the world including its global campus in Campana, Argentina, which houses an Academic Building and Residence. Additionally, other dedicated training facilities operate in Mexico and Italy, with more under development. The internationally renowned Caruso-Torricella Architetti Studio has led the design and development of each.
Academic Building and TenarisUniversity Residence, Campana
Training & Convention Center, Buenos Aires
In June 2008, TenarisUniversity inaugurated its global campus in the Siderca mill in Campana, Argentina. Facilities include both the Academic Building and the TenarisUniversity Residence. The Academic Building includes thirteen classrooms, the Roberto Rocca auditorium, a library and eight study rooms. Hotel Siderca, originally developed in 1962 by Italian designer Vico Magistretti, was renovated and reopened its doors as the TenarisUniversity Residence in 2008. In addition to capacity for 100 guests, it houses a restaurant, computer lab, meeting rooms, study rooms and gardens. TenarisUniversity’s Training & Convention Center in Buenos Aires, just steps away from its downtown corporate offices, includes a 160 seat auditorium, eight classrooms and lobby.
Academic Building, Dalmine
In April 2007, Palazzo TenarisUniversity Italy was opened at the TenarisDalmine mill after a complete restructuring of the existing building. Included in its 2500 square meter state-of-the-art facilities, are a 200 seat auditorium, eight classrooms, four study rooms, four meeting rooms and two computer labs.
Academic Building, Veracruz
TenarisTamsa mill opened in 2010 a 3500 square meter training center that includes a 325 seat auditorium, a board room, ten meeting rooms, nine classrooms and two computer labs. It also includes a workshop where plant operators hone their skills through simulations and equipment training.
Academic Building, Pindamonhangaba
A 2000 square meter Academic Building is currently under development. Facilities will include a 63 seat auditorium, four classrooms, a computer lab and TenarisUniversity offices.
