Products and Services for Canada’s harshest environments
For more than 10 years, Tenaris has played in important role in the oil and gas market in Canada, starting with the opening of our only seamless mill in North America, AlgomaTubes. Today we serve our customers through our facilities in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Calgary, Red Deer and Nisku, Alberta.
Tenaris provides an integrated offer of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and line pipe products capable of withstanding Canada’s diverse drilling environments.
We continually develop proprietary steel grades, such as TN80SS for sour services and TN55TH and TN80TH for application in thermal operations. All of our premium connections meet or exceed industry recommended practices and endure the demands of Canada’s disparate operating conditions. Our leading premium connections technologies, such as TenarisHydril Blue™ and Wedge Series 500™, provide optimum solutions for thermal operations. Additionally, Tenaris’s Dopeless® technology is changing how the industry operates because of its environmental and technological advances. Our field services group supports all of the customers’ needs from the time the product leaves the facility to the time it is installed in the well.
Our coiled tubing service center provides cost effective coiled tubing to meet the needs of Canada’s challenging offshore and onshore environments.
We are the leading supplier of tubular line pipe products used in both process and power plants, as well as, on and offshore transmission applications. We offer an extensive range of related products including high pressure/high temperature pipe, sweet and sour service, quench and tempered and special steel grades in a wide variety of diameters (0.5” – 100”). Innovative programs, such as the Tenaris Secured Supply System help minimize project related costs and timeline impacts, while strategic partnerships with both end users and distribution emphasize our strong presence in the Canadian line pipe market.
We also apply our integrated approach to supplying Canada’s automotive and industrial needs. Continuous research and process innovation in collaboration with our customers allows us to deliver tubes with reduced weight, enhanced mechanical properties and longer product life cost effectively.
