On September 5-8, Tenaris will be exhibiting at SPE’s 2017 Offshore Europe Conference & Exhibition in Aberdeen, UK. At booth #2C61, technical experts will be onsite to discuss Tenaris’s integrated offer of products and services for North Sea operations, including TenarisHydril premium connections, Rig Direct™ and it’s Aberdeen service center.
Rig Direct™ is a service model that integrates the supply of pipes and accessories from the mill to the rig, leveraging a single QHSE management system, providing technical consulting, pipe management and field services.
Tenaris has been committed to the development in the North Sea area for over 35 years. Recently, we have made significant investments made at our Aberdeen facility to better support customers with highly complex offshore operations, such as Statoil’s Mariner project and Maersk Oil’s Culzean project. This has included a fully automated production line to apply Dopeless® technology, which increased local capacity to apply this proprietary dope-free technology to up to 10,800 pieces per year. Additionally, a state-of-the-art service center has been added to the facility, and began providing pipe management services in August.
