Tenaris’s global office redesign project is progressing with the unveiling of new offices inside the rolling mill in Veracruz, Mexico.
Tenaris will be exhibiting at the upcoming Hyvolution 2023, showcasing its wide product portfolio for hydrogen applications. Hyvolution 2023 will be take place in Paris on February 1 and 2, bringing stakeholders from France and across Europe together to exchange know how and envision innovative products and solutions involving hydrogen.
Tenaris will detail the actions included in its decarbonization strategy in an online tech talk, hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), on Tuesday, February 7 at 9:00 am CT. Carolina Bengochea, Environmental Senior Director, and Lorena Moret, Environment Senior Manager, will illustrate Tenaris’s plans to address climate change.
In 2021, Tenaris set a medium-term target to reduce the CO₂ intensity of our operations by 30% by 2030, compared to a 2018 baseline. We are pursuing this target by using a higher proportion of recycled steel scrap in the metallic mix and by making investments to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in our energy requirements.
