After three days of inspections, Tenaris threading facility in Saudi Arabia has successfully passed a surveillance audit conducted by the American Petroleum Institute (API).
This was the first audit process conducted remotely due to continued travel restrictions and safety measures in place to control the spread of COVID-19.
The facility validated its API 5CT license as well as its compliance of the Quality Management System requirements defined by API Q1.
The auditor recognized the local team’s competence, confidence, and solid understanding of API standards as a main strength, with excellent implementation and cooperation capabilities, incorporation of process control activities and procedures, as well as the execution of a Quality Management System to oversee production, calibration control, and an effective inspection process.
