Tenaris is proud to participate as a Northern Lights sponsor of the 2021 PSAC STARS & Spurs Gala, which will be held virtually this year as a result of the pandemic.
STARS is a privately funded helicopter air ambulance service, the only one that serves Western Canada, offering time, hope and life-saving transport to critically ill and injured patients. Their mission is informed by the belief that where you live – or work, play and travel – shouldn’t impact your chance of survival.
“Tenaris is committed to supporting local organizations in our communities around the world,” said Ricardo Prosperi, President of Tenaris in Canada. “Knowing STARS has had a lifesaving impact on our employees and their families makes our contribution all the more rewarding.”
This is the 27th year the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) has hosted the gala, one of the largest fundraising events benefitting STARS each year. In addition to the virtual gala, Tenaris employees will participate in the 50/50 lottery.
“We’re happy to show our appreciation for the workers who brave the rugged and often remote Canadian landscape in their essential duties,” Dave McHattie, Tenaris Institutional Relations Director and STARS and Spurs Committee Chair, said.
The PSAC STARS and Spurs Gala campaign runs until the end of May 2021. The virtual gala video including entertainment will be released for viewing on Feb. 27 at 6:45pm MST at www.starsandspursgala.ca, the 50/50 lottery will take place in May 2021, and the live industry auction will be at the end of May 2021.
