Claudio Franchi first came across a Tenaris job posting in 2010. He was a 24-year-old engineering student in northern Italy with a fairly conventional plan for his future. He imagined a linear career path, probably in Italy, with clear rules and predictable steps. Then one word on the job posting caught his attention: Argentina. "At the time, I didn't even have a passport," he recalls. "But something about the opportunity excited me." A few months later, he was on a plane to the other side of the world.
Tenaris’s seamless steel pipe mill in Campana, Argentina, has been recognized by Toyota for quality excellence, highlighting the company’s outstanding performance throughout 2025.
When Alejandro Colicchio first walked into a Tenaris mill in 1993, his son Martín wasn't born yet. More than thirty years later, the two work at the same Tenaris plant in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada: Alejandro, in rolling mill operations; Martín, in maintenance. They carry with them a family story that began long before either of them: Alejandro's own father was a rolling mill manager in the Argentine steel industry.
