Tenaris will detail the actions included in its decarbonization strategy in an online tech talk, hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), on Tuesday, February 7 at 9:00 am CT.
Carolina Bengochea, Environmental Senior Director, and Lorena Moret, Environment Senior Manager, will illustrate Tenaris’s plans to address climate change. Tenaris has announced its commitment to reduce its CO2 intensity per ton of steel by 30% by 2030. The talk will be divided into two segments:
- Tenaris’s process description in relation to its CO2
- Tenaris’s decarbonization strategy: an overview of the target and the main ongoing actions to achieve it.
“It is important to explain where we are positioned in terms of CO2 emissions, what the industry is doing to reduce them, the target we have set in Tenaris and the most relevant actions we are implementing,” said Carolina Bengochea.
Tenaris will be hosting other tech talks devoted to its technologies for low-carbon applications in the coming months.
