Tenaris is showcasing its rooted presence and extensive track record in the Caspian region at this year’s Caspian Oil & Gas, from May 31 to June 2, at booth #1018 in Hall1.
Tenaris has supported the development of the energy industry in the Caspian since 2004, partnering with oil and gas operators to supply high-quality products and services for their most challenging projects. In 2015, the company strengthened its local presence by building a high-end threading facility in Aktau, Kazakhstan, moving closer to its customers and providing faster technical solutions complemented by a full array of services, such as Rig Direct® for OCTG operations and One Line™ for complex line pipe projects.
The facility, which started operations in 2016 with an annual capacity of 45 thousand tons, is the first Tenaris facility with a Dopeless® technology line integrated in the threading process.
Our technical experts and commercial representatives will be onsite to present the latest high-end solutions for the most demanding energy projects, both for upstream and downstream applications.
“The Caspian region is very diverse in terms of operations, including offshore applications as well as sour service environments, where high-end complex solutions are required”, says Olga Volkova, Tenaris Commercial Senior Director for Eastern Europe & Caspian Sea. “Tenaris, being a global company with a unique quality system, can meet the highest technical requirements, and now being settled in the region allows us to provide a wide range of on-time expert services.”
Tenaris will also showcase its commitment to the future of a sustainable steel industry, with the objective of reducing the intensity of its emissions by a 30% within 2030, and its advanced products portfolio for low-carbon energy applications.
