Tenaris highlighted its latest artificial lift solutions at the 2025 Southwestern Petroleum Short Course (SWPSC), held April 22–24 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Tenaris experts were on-site to share insights about the portfolio of solutions designed to boost efficiency in artificial lift systems.
The team gave two technical presentations. In the first, they shared insights on optimizing sucker rod components in rod lift systems by leveraging computational fluid dynamics to enhance design and reliability. They also presented their conclusions on full-scale tribocorrosion and abrasive testing to mitigate rod and tubing wear.
“Participating in the SWPSC is always a valuable experience for us. This annual event offers an excellent platform to connect with both current and prospective customers, exchange ideas, and reinforce our presence in the market. This year, we’ve focused on high-value wells, primarily in the Permian, Eagle Ford, and Bakken, addressing our customers' pumping challenges in unconventional reservoirs,” said Fernando Labaronne, Tenaris Sucker Rods Sales Director.
