Tenaris has been recognized by American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) with a Quality Performance Award, following a recent visit by AAM representatives to Tamsa, Tenaris’s industrial center in Veracruz, Mexico.
The award acknowledges Tenaris’s strong performance in quality audits and scorecard results throughout 2025, reinforcing the companies’ long-standing partnership and shared commitment to continuous improvement.
AAM is a global Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry, designing and manufacturing driveline technologies and metal-formed components for electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. Tenaris currently supplies hot-rolled pipes to AAM’s plant in Silao, Guanajuato, supporting the production of rear axles for major OEM pickup truck programs, with an annual volume of approximately 9,000 tons.
Each year, AAM recognizes top-performing suppliers across categories such as quality, logistics and new product launches. Within this supplier recognition program, Tenaris has previously received several distinctions, including the Best Launch Award in 2022, the award of a major pickup truck program in 2023, and a three-year contract extension in 2024, reflecting a consistent track record of performance and reliability.
