Eighty-six students from the Onne and Ogu communities were selected to receive Roberto Rocca scholarships in Nigeria in recognition of their academic performance. The program supports students committed to learning and helps them continue their educational journey.
“This support goes a long way toward contributing to my education and that of other participants. I am grateful to Tenaris for this valuable support to our community,” said Mary Ogosu, a high school scholarship recipient from the Onne community.

Throughout 2025, Tenaris also advanced education and youth development through school improvement initiatives and volunteer activities, reaching hundreds of students across both communities.
These efforts focused on strengthening learning environments and included the provision of classroom furniture and teaching materials, renovations to school facilities, upgrades to infrastructure such as water and electricity, and the delivery of laboratory equipment and educational resources.

Tenaris also organized Career Day events, engaging hundreds of students through direct interaction with professionals from different fields and helping them better understand potential career paths. These activities strengthened ties with local communities while giving volunteers the opportunity to contribute to the development of younger generations.
The impact of these initiatives was recognized in December 2025, when Tenaris received a Corporate Recognition Award from the Liberation Club Ogu for its community efforts in education. “We focus our efforts on education as an initiative that shapes the future. It is encouraging to see the community recognize our work,” said Laurel Okoye, Tenaris Human Resources leader for Sub-Saharan Africa.
