Tenaris has awarded three Roberto Rocca Scholarships to engineering students from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its commitment to developing local engineering talent and strengthening its partnership with leading academic institutions in the Kingdom.
The scholarships will support the students’ master’s studies, enabling them to continue their academic journey and advance their careers in engineering.
The Roberto Rocca Scholarships program reflects Tenaris’s commitment to education and talent development in the communities where the company operates. The program supports high-potential students at different academic levels and strengthens the link between academia and industry to build future-ready engineering capabilities aligned with long-term industrial growth.
In Saudi Arabia, this year’s edition continues Tenaris’s collaboration with leading universities. Following previous support for students from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), the company is expanding its engagement with KFUPM, a key source of engineering talent in the Eastern Province.
“This initiative underscores our long-term commitment to developing engineering talent in Saudi Arabia and strengthening the connection between academic excellence and the capabilities needed to support the Kingdom’s industrial growth,” said Renwar Berzinji, Tenaris President for Operations in Saudi Arabia.
Additional initiatives in the Kingdom include community engagement and technical training programs, such as the Tenaris Lab at the ITQAN Institute in Juaymah. The lab provides students with hands-on experience using specialized equipment and helps bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial practice.
