The worldsteel association has recognized Tenaris as a 2018 Steel Sustainability Champion for a second consecutive year. Tenaris was among six companies chosen for the distinction for demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development.
In its 2018 Sustainability Report, Tenaris highlights its goals and performance across its global network in health, safety, and environment, as well as innovation, human resources, community relations, and governance. Through these indicators, Tenaris further details the actions that support the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations in 2015.
On March 27-29, Tenaris will exhibit at the Offshore Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition (OMC) at the Palazzo delle Arti e dello Sport Mauro De André in Ravenna, Italy.
Tenaris is sponsoring and exhibiting at the SPE/ICoTA Well Intervention Conference and Exhibition on March 26-27 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center located in The Woodlands, TX.
Tenaris’s plant in Hickman, Arkansas, has reached an all-time plant safety record – 750,000 hours worked without a recordable accident, doubling its previous record. With this feat, the team also topped its previous record of consecutive days logged with zero recordables to a new high of approximately 200 days.
