Education is the focus of Tenaris’s community programs around the world. This month, a total of 284 students from Cilegon and Batam in Indonesia received the Roberto Rocca Education Program scholarships from Tenaris to recognize their outstanding academic achievements.
The transformation of Tenaris office space across industrial and commercial facilities worldwide is expanding. Recently, the new Cold Drawn and Component Center offices in Tenaris’s facilities in Zalau Romania, which were previously conceived as separate buildings, have now been inaugurated as one single integrated space.
Giancarlo Di Berardino, managing director for Southeast Asia and Oceania, gives an overview of this region. “It’s extremely diverse; different languages, different religions, and even different kinds of writing coexist in one same country.” In view of some of Tenaris’s most recent projects in the Philippines and Indonesia, Di Berardino, based in Jakarta, shares insights about Tenaris’s extensive operations in the region.
A total of 401 students from different communities in Argentina received the Roberto Rocca Scholarships from Tenaris and the Hermanos Agustín and Enrique Rocca Foundation, celebrating their effort, dedication and excellence in education.
Water depths ranging from 1,840 to 2,149 meters plus a target depth of more than 4,500 meters and strong ocean currents equals no room for mistakes.
