On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Tenaris has suspended all sales to and purchases from Russia. It has also decided to write off its investment in a Russian joint venture that it had with Severstal. At its European operations, it is contributing medical supplies to Ukrainian pediatric hospitals, in partnership with the Francesca Rava Foundation.

Fondazione Dalmine, established by Dalmine, Tenaris’s seamless steel plant in Italy to preserve and disseminate the company’s history and industrial heritage through cultural initiatives, has unveiled its new headquarters.
