Thanks to these efforts, Microsoft recognized Tenaris as a leading company in the region, with an Award for Innovation in the manufacturing industry. This award is a recognition that Microsoft Latin America grants to organizations in the financial, retail, energy, telecommunications, government, education and manufacturing sectors for their vision of innovation.

Microsoft and Tenaris recently signed a five-year strategic alliance with a commitment to accelerate Tenaris' digital transformation. Under this alliance, Tenaris aims to accelerate its migration to the cloud environment by leveraging increased adoption of Microsoft's Azure computing solutions for information scalability, accessibility and reliability; develop new digital tools to improve customer service using real-time data; optimize performance across its entire industrial footprint and supply chain through improved management and control processes that will also contribute to the company's decarbonization strategy.
