Tenaris's team waiting for your visit in Abu Dhabi Tenaris

Tenaris will be exhibiting at ADIPEC 2022, showcasing the progress of its investments in the UAE to grow its industrial footprint and enhance its service support to customers in the region.

ADIPEC 2022 will be taking place in Abu Dhabi from October 31 to November 3, at a time of unprecedented complexity for the energy market, as industry and governments work to find solutions to address the trilemma of achieving energy security and affordability while advancing climate goals.

Tenaris will highlight the progress of its investment project in Abu Dhabi with the expansion of a 200,000 sqm state-of-the-art complex, which will include three inspection lines, a Rig Direct® service yard and a new premium threading facility - expected to be operational by 2023 - which will supply ADNOC’s onshore and offshore exploration and production expansion projects.

“Our industrial project in Abu Dhabi, puts Tenaris in a solid position to provide ADNOC and the UAE with local capabilities and reliability of supply to support their production goals, as the current energy system and traditional energy sources are key to address energy security challenges and meeting global energy needs,” shares Renwar Berzinji, Middle East Commercial Vice President.

The project will also include a TenarisUniversity training center to provide the company’s growing local team with development opportunities and offer customers technical workshops.

Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE minister of energy and infrastructure, said this year’s edition of ADIPEC would provide an important platform to make the case for a progressive and pragmatic energy transition that is both pro-climate and pro-growth. According to Dr Sultan Al Jaber, ADNOC CEO, “the success of the energy transition will depend on the adoption of the latest technologies to drive down the emissions of the energies the sector uses today, while creating the energies of tomorrow.”

“The role that Tenaris can play in this area is to focus its role in reducing the environmental footprint of its own operations, in support of its pledge to cut its CO2 emissions intensity by 30% by 2030. Tenaris has also positioned itself to support low-carbon energy projects by providing relevant technologies and expertise and will be ready to support any of these projects in the region,” says Berzinji, “In addition, in our day to day operations, our Rig Direct® model is all about generating efficiencies; it allows our customers to have a much leaner structure when it comes to managing your tangibles, and this translates into consuming less water and electricity, reducing preventive maintenance and need for transportation too.”
