Tenaris has been awarded a multi-year contract from Neptune Energy for the supply of OCTG and services for its drilling projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
“The new contract strengthens our collaboration with Tenaris which has supported our strong operational and safety performance across all drilling activities,” said Neptune’s Head of Supply Chain Management and Logistics in Norway, Kjell-Petter Schou Andreassen.
Under the five-year contract, Tenaris will manufacture, transport and provide pipe management services for a broad range of casing, including high performance conductor casing with TenarisHydril BlueDock® weld-on connectors and high alloy casing with state-of-the-art connections such as TenarisHydril Blue®, Blue® Max, Blue® Quick Seal, all with the environmentally friendly Dopeless® technology, increasing running reliability.
This will include one exploration well and one appraisal well in the Gjøa area in the Norwegian Sea in 2023.
