Tenaris is sharing a new message with Canada’s energy sector at the SPE Montney/Duvernay Symposium with the launch of Energy Connects Us — a nationwide branding campaign that celebrates the company’s role in linking energy, customers, and communities across Canada. The campaign coincides with Tenaris’s 25-year anniversary in Sault Ste. Marie which is home to Canada’s manufacturing hub and serves as the foundation for Tenaris’s long-term growth and innovation.
“For the past 25 years, Tenaris has played a central role in supporting Canada’s energy industry with high quality steel pipes, while building strong relationships with our customers and communities,” says Pablo Toy, Vice President of Commercial for Tenaris in Canada. “We are known among our customers for our advanced pipe manufacturing, integrated Rig Direct® service model, and proprietary connections which have helped our customers set records in the Montney and Duvernay regions and in thermal wells.”
Tenaris’s industrial footprint in Canada includes a seamless and electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe manufacturing facility in Sault Ste. Marie, the only one of its kind in the country. The company also operates two service centers in Grande Prairie and Edmonton, Alberta, and most recently announced , a third service center that will open in Fort St. John, British Columbia. In addition, Tenaris manages three coating facilities — two in Camrose and one in Edmonton, Alberta — a threading and accessories facility in Nisku, Alberta, a commercial office in Calgary, and a research and development center in Toronto. Today, Tenaris employs more than 1,200 people across four provinces.
