Tenaris will participate in GeoTHERM Expo & Congress, the leading global trade fair for geothermal energy, to be held in Offenburg, Germany, on February 26–27. At Booth 33 in Hall Edeka Arena, Tenaris experts will showcase a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for geothermal wells, including seamless steel pipes for casing and tubing, TenarisHydril connections, integrated services, and digital solutions designed for both low and high-enthalpy projects.
For more than 30 years, Tenaris has supported major geothermal projects across Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Romania, contributing to district heating systems, power generation, and innovative geothermal developments.
“Through our participation in GeoTHERM Expo, we continue to support the growth of geothermal energy in Europe by sharing expertise and solutions that help customers enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability throughout the lifecycle of their projects,” said Giacomo Marcolin, Tenaris Technical Sales Manager in Europe.
On February 26, Costantino Espinosa, Tenaris Drilling Services Project Director, will present “AI-Driven Vibration Monitoring: Enhancing Safety and Reliability in Casing While Drilling Operations.” The presentation will highlight the digital component of Tenaris’s Casing Drilling Integrated Service, part of the WISer™ solutions to support well integrity under the Rig Direct® service model.
“As geothermal drilling advances in support of the energy transition, operators face increasingly complex well conditions. Casing drilling can significantly lower non-productive time and enhance operational efficiency, and Tenaris has developed an integrated service to improve the reliability of this technique. Tenaris’s Casing Drilling Integrated Service combines engineering expertise, tubular technologies, and real-time AI-driven monitoring to manage vibration and shock loads during drilling, enabling operational adjustments that keep conditions within safe limits,” explains Espinosa.
