Tenaris will be exhibiting at the Argentina Oil & Gas 2022 Expo, the main oil and gas trade show in the region, held September 11-14 in Buenos Aires. Through a digital and immersive experience, the booth will feature the latest solutions and projects developed by Tenaris and sister companies, Tecpetrol and Techint Engineering and Construction.
At booth 2F-20, the main themes will include Tenaris’s strategy for decarbonization and its major initiative: the Buena Ventura wind farm, which recently finished the installation of its 24 wind turbines and will supply close to 50% of the electricity requirements for its Siderca mill. The booth will also showcase the synergies between the three companies in milestone projects such as Fortín de Piedra, where Tecpetrol’s shale operations take place and the Néstor Kirchner gas pipeline, which is considered Argentina’s most important energy infrastructure work in the last 40 years that will connect Vaca Muerta with urban centers of gas consumption.
Tenaris’s participation will also include its comprehensive line of products and services focusing on the unconventional play, solutions for corrosion and live demonstrations of its digital tools for customer integration. Value added services for sucker rods will also be presented at the booth with technical presentations scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Javier Martínez Álvarez, Tenaris President for the Southern Cone, will inaugurate the “Talk with the CEOs” segment held on Tuesday, September 12th, highlighting Argentina’s opportunity in a context of a growing demand for safe energy and where Tenaris can play a major role in boosting the country’s infrastructure.
