Tenaris representatives in Qingdao, China, delivered a series of lectures to more than 300 students from six elementary schools on the topic of garbage classification and environmental protection in line with local government initiatives.
Tenaris, which has a pipe threading facility in Qingdao, has partnered with the local elementary schools over the past 11 years as part of its community focus and to raise awareness among the young generation on various topics.

“This is a meaningful project that is both educational and great fun. Recycling teaches our students to be concerned about the environment, giving them a sense of responsibility for caring for the world. It also encourages kids to pay attention to the environment they are living in and try to make it better,” said Zhu Hua, a Chongmingdao Primary School teacher.
