Petrobras – which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year – has recognized Tenaris as one of the company's best suppliers in 2022.
In the “goods for drilling and completing wells” category, the award underscores the commitment of Tenaris in Brazil to advancing the energy industry. This is the third supplier award Tenaris has received from Petrobras since it began the program in 2018.
Tenaris President in Brazil, Renato Catallini, and Commercial Director of Oil & Gas, Roque Ivaldi, were presented with this recognition during an awards ceremony at OTC Brazil 2023, in Rio de Janeiro, on October 25th.

Drawing on decades of experience supporting Petrobras' offshore operations, Tenaris has developed a package of technologies and services for one of the areas that requires the greatest attention to safety on offshore platforms, the so-called Red Zone.
The combination of technologies such as the Dopeless® technology, the Automatic Anti-Rotational Keys (AARK) integrated into BlueDock® connectors, and the PipeTracer® digital application, along with Tenaris’s on-site field services support to ensure well integrity throughout operations, offers customers the opportunity to operate within a safer Red Zone with simplified operations and minimal manual intervention, improving the overall safety and efficiency of rig activities.

The partnership between Tenaris and Petrobras in Brazil has evolved into one of the company's most comprehensive contracts worldwide. This long-term agreement encompasses not only the supply of technologies such as TenarisHydril premium connections and BlueDock® weld-on connectors, but also a wide array of added-value services under Rig Direct®, a fully integrated approach that feeds pipe from the production units and service centers directly to the rigs, RunReady™, contributing to simpler and more sustainable operations.
