Tenaris has acquired AllTorque’s oilfield division, a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of tubular running technology. This acquisition builds on an existing collaboration between the two companies and will enhance Tenaris’s WISer™ solutions to support well integrity for Rig Direct® customers.
Based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, AllTorque was founded nearly 30 years ago as AllWeigh Scale Systems, with an initial focus on manufacturing load cells. Over the years, the company evolved into an innovative leader for torque turn monitoring systems in North America, responding to industry demands for more accurate tools for the rig floor and gaining knowledge and expertise across industries.

Since its launch in 2022, Tenaris's torque turn monitoring service has been used for the running of 77 million feet of OCTG in more than 5,000 jobs across the North America, South America, and Europe, providing real-time torque data collection and analysis at the well. With an average of 250 jobs currently performed each month in North America, the service has significantly improved operating efficiencies and simplified running for Tenaris's customers. This service is now being integrated with other WISer™ solutions to provide a more complete experience for customers.
