Tenaris recently hosted a Drilling and Completion Technical Workshop in Baku, Azerbaijan, bringing together representatives from major oil companies, EPC contractors, and service providers in the Caspian area.

The workshop combined an overview of Tenaris’s global footprint with in-depth technical sessions led by company specialists. Discussions focused on the portfolio of premium connections for offshore and onshore applications in the Caspian Sea region, as well as conductor and surface casing solutions. Participants also explored Tenaris’s proprietary materials, including High Collapse and Sour Service grades and martensitic stainless steels.
The program also covered Rig Direct®, Tenaris’s integrated service model, and Dopeless® technology, Tenaris’s dope-free solution designed to improve operational efficiency.
On the second day, the conversation expanded further to include material selection, well design tools, and artificial lift solutions for mature fields, topics closely connected to the operational realities faced by participants.
