Tenaris has recently installed a new dust collector system at its mill in Indonesia to enhance efficiency and reduce air pollution, improving the facility’s environmental performance.
Yamileth González, laboratory manager at the Tenaris’s mill in Veracruz, Mexico, has had a long journey working in different areas of the company during her nearly 14 years at Tenaris. Since December 2018, she has been overseeing three labs at the mill, all essential to attain the best results for the company’s product development.

Tenaris’s steel shop in Dalmine, Italy, is investing nearly 29 million dollars to expand the facility’s capabilities to produce specialty steels with a high chromium content, such as Super Chromium 13. These are martensitic stainless steels with a carbon content lower than 0.03%, which are more resistant to corrosion.
