Tenaris has inaugurated new offices at TuboCaribe, its production center in Cartagena, Colombia, marking another step in the company’s global shift toward more collaborative and flexible work environments.
The new location joins a growing network of Tenaris workspaces designed under the New Way of Working concept, implemented at industrial and commercial facilities in Argentina, Mexico, Romania, Scotland, the UAE, and the US.
Covering 500 m², the offices feature 56 open workstations, meeting rooms, coworking areas, and a social kitchenette. The layout replaces small, isolated office spaces, fostering interaction and supporting knowledge-sharing and innovation within the mill environment.
“This project reflects our vision of building spaces that inspire people to work better, with stronger connections and pride in what we do,” said Andrea Bassetti, Tenaris President for the Andean Region. “These offices are a symbol of the cultural evolution we are experiencing in the Andean Region as we work together to achieve our goals.”
The renovation also incorporates improved ventilation and lighting, renovated bathrooms, and an integrated screen system known as the “control tower,” which provides real-time visibility of dispatches, yard material status, and other key operational applications.
This initiative aligns with Tenaris’s broader commitment to create workplaces that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and employee well-being across its global network. The New Way of Working approach promotes open communication, teamwork, and shared problem-solving, supported by technology and accessible, comfortable spaces.
