Tenaris supplied TenarisHydril BlueDock® connectors featuring Automated Anti-Rotational Key (AARK) technology, to support the installation of 30" conductor and 20" surface casing strings during a major offshore development project in deepwater conditions on the UK Continental Shelf.
Originally from Ipatinga, in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, Bárbara Emerick Dias' industrial connection began early. Growing up near a steel facility and watching her father's work in the manufacturing sector helped spark her interest in engineering.
Tenaris will host a series of technical and industry-focused panel discussions at ROG.e 2026 (Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference), one of the leading oil and gas events in Latin America, taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 2021, Tenaris set a medium-term target to reduce the CO₂ intensity of our operations by 30% by 2030, compared to a 2018 baseline. We are pursuing this target by using a higher proportion of recycled steel scrap in the metallic mix and by making investments to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in our energy requirements.
